The BCS ORIGIN X is our signature Single Tank System, engineered for every type of diving with a strong focus on reducing overall weight. Perfect for divers using a Single Tank Wing, these systems are built from the finest materials and advanced technology, including a titanium hardware : backplate, D-rings, and a Single Tank Adapter (STA).
The inner bladder is constructed from dual-layer TPU Cordura 420D fabric—the same material trusted in inflatable safety equipment like life vests. Using precision HF welding, the seams are permanently sealed, and every bladder is pressure-tested for 24 hours to ensure absolute reliability.
The outer shell is made from rugged Cordura 1000D, reinforced with Gutermann marine-grade threads for exceptional durability and long service life.
The “X” in ORIGIN X represents the lift capacity of the wing—giving divers the right balance of buoyancy, weight reduction, and performance for their specific diving needs.

You can choose between two configurations to match your environment:

Backplate harness system
Our main idea was to design a lightweight, durable harness that’s perfect for travel, while also allowing for easy integration of a weight system. As we know, aluminum can corrode when it comes into contact with stainless steel. That’s why we chose titanium for our backplates. Titanium is not only twice as light as stainless steel, but it’s also incredibly strong and nearly indestructible.
To ensure our backplate is smooth and “GearSafe,” we use a Mazak CNC milling machine to carefully round the edges. While this is a costly process that affects the final price, it’s what gives our backplate its almost flawless finish. Our Single Tank Adapter and Tank Straps are also made from titanium, providing strength and durability you can trust.
Weight system “FLY”
The Titanium backplate offers an incredibly low weight, making it ideal for travel. However, for diving in colder waters, additional weight is often necessary. Instead of relying on a weight belt or waist pockets, which can disrupt balance and trim, we’ve designed a more efficient solution.
Our Helium Fly weight system allows you to add up to 12 kg directly to your backplate, ensuring perfect balance and optimal trim in the water.
Single tank adapter – STA
We use a Titanium Single Tank Adapter (STA) to securely attach the Voyager BC to the backplate. The STA provides a stable attachment point for the scuba tank, preventing it from rolling or twisting during the dive.
Our custom-made Titanium fasteners require no tools for assembly, making the system quick and easy to set up. Additionally, the specially designed webbing for the camband doesn’t absorb water like traditional nylon straps, eliminating the need to adjust the strap for “dry vs wet” conditions.

Origin X – 25 is the lightest and most efficient Single Tank System available on the market.
Every component is made from titanium, making it twice as light as comparable stainless steel systems, while offering the same strength and functionality.
The Helium wings feature a slim profile that reduces effort in the water and helps keep your gear streamlined. The Helium Signature adjustable harness provides a near “tailor-fit” experience for enhanced comfort and buoyancy control.
We offer two harness options with the Origin X system to suit different diving styles and preferences:
